Lipodystrophy

 Some AIDS patients acquire Lipodystrophy (a fat distribution ailment) as a side effect from protease inhibitor drugs used in their treatment.

But some forms of Lipodystrophy can be genetic.
I see many women shaped like tomatoes.
Could our modern diet have the same side effects as AIDS treatment drugs?
Could our diet be triggering genes which would effect the way we develop?
