Going through the magazines I have picked up this month and what I have seen over the internet, I think this season is one of the best that I have seen for a while, I’m head over heels in love with what the likes of Ellie Saab and Roberto Cavalli have come up with; they are completely different collections, with many different influences and inspirations, but predominately they have created such feminine and beautiful collections, that I simply can’t resist looking back again and again.
Ellie Saab has delved into 70s draping models in full length gowns in a mixture of aluminous colours, whereas Roberto Cavalli has taken fringing to an extreme, yet still mastering to create a feminine silhouette. Here are a few that have caught my eye:

Another designer I always keep an open for is Jason Wu, I love how is takes a complicated piece that has inspired his collection and turns it into a simple and elegant ensemble, my favourite of his spring/summer 2011 ready to wear collection is this floral print dress, the more I see 70s inspired clothing the more I love it, I think I will be investing in some key pieces soon.
