So, Saturday night was SUPPOSED to be the concert of the YEAR...

Shyne had scheduled his album launch party concert in Belize and had officially announced that he would be bringing 2 huge US artists along with him to celebrate and perform....rumours spread that he could be joined by Jay Z, Busta or even Foxy.

Hundreds of thousands of tickets were sold and the hype was massive!

UNTIL...the day of the concert when the promoter DJ Richie sent out a release saying that Shyne had left the country for Israel in haste and that Richie's company had 'categorically dissassociated himself from the Shyne SCAM'...WOW

Shyne's label Gangland then released its own release...

"throughout the entire process, DJ Richie conducted himself in a highly unproffesional manner...he failed to meet payment deadlines even for Shyne's airfare." etc

Whilst Richie claims Shyne was paid $50,000...

POOR business on both parts I say.

I am looking forward to hearing Shyne's new album though I must say...

He was arrested last week in NYC for lewd sexualconduct when police officers found him receiving fellatio (head) from another MAN inside his car.

The man is reportedly a 20 year old from the NYC area.

Petey Pablo is facing 10 years in pen after pleading guilty to gun possession...

Basically in September last year, Pablo tried or board a plane carrying a gun...like, WHAT THE HELL?!

At the time he said it was all a big misunderstanding and that the gun didnt belong to him and he forgot he had it, blah blah blah...

Well, last week he pleaded guilty to possessing a stolen firearm and will be sentenced in June.

OK magazine asked RiRi if she was considering the role in a recent interview and she replied,

"Absolutely not. I want to separate the two. I hate it when singers do singing movies all the time because you can never look at them as anybody else."

 

I actually agree...personally, I'd like to see her in something where she looks completely normal doesn't sing and has to act as a civilian instead of a sex goddess ha!

Juelz Santana gets arrested, and locked out

Juelz Santana arrested after studio raid...

Last month rapper Juelz Santana's New Jersey recording studio was raided and cops found drugs and guns...

Although Juelz was not at the studio when it got raided, some of his freinds and associates were. The police confiscated 2x 9mm guns and 17 bags of weed.
Woah...

Cops had been looking for Juelz since the raid back in January and he was eventually arrested yesterday and charged with possession of a firearm, possession of a handgun without a permit, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

Anyhoo...cops have kept the studio locked and Juelz is unable to get in. So don't be holding your breath for any new music just yet :/

Gucci Mane's put into a mental hospital....

So there was a big Police raid at Waka Flocka Flame's house in December and now Gucci Mane has been apprehended.

TMZ have reported that instead of being taken to prison following the arrest he was in fact escorted to a mental facility after filing a  “Special Plea of Mental Incompetency” while appearing in a Georgia courtroom.....errrrr WTF?!

The Atlanta “Lemonade” MC, whose real name is Radric Davis, explained to the judge that he was unable to “intelligently participate in the probation revocation hearing.” Instead of hauling him back to jail, the judge committed him to the treatment facility, with his incarceration pending an evaluation of his mental condition.

Meanwhile, Waka Flocka Flame turned himself over to authorities yesterday because he “didn’t want to run,”so says his mom Debra Antney. He facesfaces a tally of gun, drug, and gang-related charges, and is currently being held on bond while awaiting his hearing.

Snipes has appealed several times ever since he was convicted on tax evasion charges back in 2008 -- but looks like it's the end of the road for him now.
