Shyne caught in concert SCAM

So, Saturday night was SUPPOSED to be the concert of the YEAR...

Shyne had scheduled his album launch party concert in Belize and had officially announced that he would be bringing 2 huge US artists along with him to celebrate and perform....rumours spread that he could be joined by Jay Z, Busta or even Foxy.

Hundreds of thousands of tickets were sold and the hype was massive!

UNTIL...the day of the concert when the promoter DJ Richie sent out a release saying that Shyne had left the country for Israel in haste and that Richie's company had 'categorically dissassociated himself from the Shyne SCAM'...WOW

Shyne's label Gangland then released its own release...

"throughout the entire process, DJ Richie conducted himself in a highly unproffesional manner...he failed to meet payment deadlines even for Shyne's airfare." etc

Whilst Richie claims Shyne was paid $50,000...

POOR business on both parts I say.

I am looking forward to hearing Shyne's new album though I must say...

SHYNE responds to 50's prank call >>>> hmmmm

So you've all probably seen the footage of 50 doing a prank call durin g a Def Jam conference with Shyne, well MTV have caught up with Shyne for his reaction to it, here's what he said:

"Wow. That’s like an all-time low. I didn’t know he was so desperate. He’s gone from confidential informant, witness-protection program dude, getting order [of protection] on muthaf—as. Now he’s a stalker. I was in shock. He called up saying he was ‘Jamal from Harlem.’ He didn’t call up saying he’s Curtis Jackson, Hawaii 5-0. He’s a busta. I can’t believe it. I can’t believe he would stoop to that low. Then again, a guy in the witness-protection program, he has no shame.”

Errrm, 50 in witness protection??? hmmmmm really Shyne?! LOL....

50 goes in on Shyne during a live phone in hahahaha. He pretended to be a Music Industry Exec to get in on the DEF JAM conference call, starts off asking Shyne what his problem with 50 is then he goes ape sh*t, ending the call with: "F Shyne, F Def Jam, I hope you got r*ped by a pack of n*ggaz"

This is track that has SPLIT the Hip Hop world in two.... A LOT of people think Shyne has 'abused' (their words not mine) Bob Marley's singing by using it in this track, while some love it..... IMO it's aiiiight. That doesn't mean I'm sitting on the fence, I don't LOVE or HATE it.... I prefer both originals that's for sure!!!

Since his release, the hip hop world has been eagerly anticipating some new stuff from Po, I don't think this was quite what they were expecting, or hoping for. Like I said, personally, i think it's ok....don't get me wrong, it's not a TOUCH on his former lyrical quality....his voice even gets kinda grating dare I say it but the 'Sun Is Shining' vibes in the production make it listenable (is that a word?!)

Also to mention: is the 50 cent diss we've all heard about, he  spits:

"I'm about a dollar/ What the f*ck is 50 Cents"

OH SHADDDAP!!! :-)
