Deep In The Heart of Texas

So Aaron Rodgers gets to go to Disneyland to be the Grand Marshall at the park's Main Street Parade after leading the Packers to victory over the Steelers in the Superbowl in Dallas.
It has to be better than actually having to play in Dallas.
Why spend thousands of dollars and travel thousands of miles from the cold and snow to watch a game in cold and snowy weather?
Wouldn't New Orleans, Miami or San Diego have been better choices for a season ending celebration?
New Orleans has a night life which lasts all night.
Miami offers beaches and better looking women.
San Diego or L.A. are resort towns which offer more to do than does Dallas - and Vegas is just a short 45 minute flight away.
Sure, the weather might be bad in any future Superbowl in New York - but New York is still New York (not Dallas).
If a town cannot provide a convivial nightlife, the weather should at least be pleasant.
This year's Rose Bowl is a good example of this.
Sure, it had rained and many areas in SoCal flooded just days prior to 'The Granddaddy of Them All' but on the day of the parade and game the weather was post card perfect.
While much of the rest of the country was shoveling snow - visitors to Cali could pop off to the beach, snowboard at Big Bear, Mountain High or Mt Baldy, take a quick trip to Vegas, sight see in Hollywood or Beverly Hills, or bring their families to Knott's Berry Farm, Magic Mountain or Disneyland under clear blue skies.
There is more to the town than just football.
While it probably will not happen anytime soon, the NFL is trying to get a second professional football team in L.A.. (Judging by Reggie Bush's problems - USC is still the only current professional team in L.A.)
Why not bring two new NFL teams?
L.A. already has the Lakers and Clippers, the Dodgers and Angels, The Kings and the Ducks - L.A. even has two professional soccer teams (the Galaxy and Chivas).
Bring the Raiders back to a renovated Coliseum and let another team play in the new stadium.
The Chargers, The Rams, The Jaguars or the Vikings?
Nah... bring Tampa Bay - then the city would have two rival factions of pirates battling for supremacy of the city.
It would be a match made in Hollywood.
