The Reflective Princess

In another 15 minutes, the brand new, mystery and juicy month will arrive. Gosh! Why is my heart beating so furiously?

*dup dap dup dup dap dup dap dap*

While waiting for June (not Si June k? lol. She is my coursemate) to conquer my calendar, I would love to make a small recap on what I have done in this past 5 months. I think, this is a good time to recall both of my achievements and failures before starting the brand new month. Well, I don’t want to recycle my New Year Resolution in year 2011 as a result of the same mistakes – talk only but no action.

So, it is crucial that I do this little reflective work. Small effort leads to big success. Yes?

I’ve visited my 1st post of 2010 (here is the link) which is about my new year hopes awhile ago (it is always good that you keep a blog or diary to keep track on what YOU HAVE PROMISED!). I have called this my Action Year, in which I will focus on taking action and making my dreams come true – rather than just think, plan and do nothing. Besides, I have even made myself a motto: Live Life With No Regrets.

Of course. I still remember all my hopes and promises, though not as clear as before. If you ask me, how far have I put plans into action with the scale of 1-10, with 1 is the least. Emm… I would say… I.. have just achieved 3 out of 10. Bad uh? Not even 50% when we are almost living half of 2010 year.

Small recap:

Months

Things which I’ve done

January

  • Enrolled myself in acting class
  • Tuned my mood for studies in new semester
  • New experience: Joining Kaun’s team for campus election
  • Get into Amway business. Attended an amazing seminar for leadership, relationship and business.
  • Good job on Unlock-Your-Heart poster.

February

  • Got myself a list of clients for counseling assignments
  • Made artwork for Valentine gift

March

April

May

  • 2 weeks of holiday (enjoy to the max!)
  • Spend a great week with friends & families.
  • Found my part time job
  • Working

While jotting down my 5 months of histories into the above table, I realized that I actually don’t achieve that much. I mean, I don’t feel fulfilled at all although there are some highlighted events which I should be happy for. The main goals have not been achieved yet. Failed.

One thing which I should do earlier, is to write down those goals which I want to hit precisely. When one can describe what she wants in life and explain how to achieve them clearly, for sure she can achieve it. Don’t you think so?

***

One of the goals I must reveal and you should know is:

I want to make this blog a more happening place. It will be filled with more inspiring and interesting posts that will keep you coming back for more. Of course, not to forget more spiciness from CurryEgg!

How much will this blog transform starting by today (1 June 2010)? Well, it is for me to work out and for you to find out!

***

Seriously, if I didn’t take this decision to reflect and recap my past achievements, I believe I am still sleeping in my slumberland. For sure, I will wake up in the end of the year and regretting for not using my time wisely.

bos

So, I am glad that I’ve taken this action. At least, I have another 7 months to work on my goals. Now, I can see that I am being responsible with myself, and my life even better.

How about you? Did you make your new year resolution too? Have you achieve them? If yes, what have you achieved? If no, what are you going to do next?

P/s: I am going to produce more goal-oriented blog posts after this.

I kissed a girl and she liked it

Choices and voices

I feel a terrible sense of guilt for not going swimming for three days. I don't have any intention to act on it, to go walking for miles or to cut back on calories, but it's there, in the background, taunting me.

However much I need to lose the weight and however much I am determinded to go about it in a healthy way, I guess I have to realise that I am in some ways always going to be vulnerable to that eating disordered voice.

And being aware of what is that voice and what are rational, healthy, normal feelings is fucking hard.

Nieve Jennings, Ultimo's Lingerie Girl And Lingerie Cars

Nieve Jennings, Ultimo's Lingerie Girl And Lingerie Cars
Nieve Jennings models Ultimo's latest collection of bridal lingerie to promote next week's Scottish Wedding Show in Glasgow. Handsome chauffeur (model Robbie McKeeve) was on hand with a Maserati Quattroporte - just one of the cars being brought to the show by Maserati Chauffuer Drive.
Nieve Jennings hanging out on a luxury car in her slutty lingerie. Why, you ask? Does it really matter? Apparently she’s modeling some bridal lingerie from Ultimo in Scotland of all places. When I think of Scottish women, lingerie doesn’t come to mind. Angry toothless drunken birds throwing pint glasses at me for suggesting they play with my Bobby under the table, on the other hand, pops into my head almost immediately. Good times.

Gisele Bundchen For Hope Lingerie

Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen poses for the Hope lingerie company's latest ad campaign. Bundchen returned to star in an ad campaign for lingerie and showed good form a few months after the birth of her first son, Benjamin.

Willis and Foxx Are "Kane & Lynch"

The Lionsgate film adaptation of video game "Kane & Lynch", written by Kyle Ward is on track for an August start, starring Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx.

The film will be based on the "Kane & Lynch" cooperative third-person shooters developed by IO Interactive and published by Eidos Interactive for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

IO Interactive also reports a deal in place that will see a comic book version of "Kane & Lynch" published under the DC Comics imprint WildStorm. The storyline, "not for the faint-hearted" will explore the duo's criminal past, written by Ian Edginton and illustrated by Chris Mitten, with cover art by Ben Templesmith.

"...The game starts with a letter, addressed to a girl named 'Jenny', written by her father, 'Adam 'Kane' Marcus'. Kane is traveling to death row after being convicted of manslaughter. Another death row inmate, 'James Seth Lynch', lets on there will be a breakout. When their escape truck is involved in a head-on collision by a group of mercenaries, the two are taken to a construction site, where they are confronted by members of 'The7 including the villainous leader 'Elder Brother', Kane's nemesis 'Younger Brother', Kane's former best friend 'Carlos, and the silent killer 'Mute'. They tell Kane to retrieve what he stole from them within three weeks, or his wife and daughter will be executed..."

Big Fish Moment with Pizza Hut

Seriously, I am losing words for this post.

You know right. When it comes to nice food, my curryegg's writing skill is at risk. I can't be a good photographer nor a writer. That's one of my weaknesses *oopss.. know you've found out*

No matter how hard I’ve tried to put all my feelings into words, still… I failed. So, I have decided to put this, another way round. I’m putting all my photos here to speak directly to you. Since, everyone believes that  ‘picture is worth a thousand words’, thus, I have no reason to reject my following actions.

Before that, this story begins from Nuffnang. I have found out that PizzaHut is organizing a blog competition, selecting the best 5 creative writing on their latest 'masterpiece' namely, the 'Fish King Pizza'. Yes. You can find fishes on the cheezily cheese pizza!

So, I thought of trying my lady luck for this competition as the 5 lucky winners can win RM2000 each. Oh my gosh! I can buy a netbook or a DSLR!

Well of course, you can do anything without taking the first move - visit one of the PizzaHut outlet and try their latest product. So, I did and had tried it. 100% real personal experience. Even Eric's too. Lol..

This is what I call, my happy moment.

Frankly, win or no win, I am being honest with you about this new dish. It is really worth to be tried at least 10th times - for the cripsy fishes, cheezy mozzarella cheese and reasonable price!

Now people, who wanna join me for the next Fish King trip?

The ugly truth that you shouldn't know much:

Sorry mama... I buy you another one next time k?
