Nike SB pro-skateboarder Omar Salazar not only lives up to his nickname “Outerspace” in his skills and tricks, but his newly released signature shoe, the Nike SB Zoom Omar Salazar has the technical specifications to live to space missions as well. Possibly one of the most technical skate shoes out there, Omar Salazar’s signature model is the first skate shoe to incorporate Nike SB’s Flywire technology. While the red and anthracite colorways have already made a splash when it was released, the other brighter colorway, the Yellow Ochre/Del Sol, has just hit Asian retailers such as Korea’s Kasina, and should be on its way to the stateside soon. The yellow Nike SB Zoom Omar Salazar sports a yellow suede and ballistic nylon upper with matching Flywire panels. The colors are brought down to earth with black lining and white embroidery on tongue and white laces. The shoes outsoles feature a planet, the Nike Swoosh as the planet’s ring and a rocket, paying homage to Salazar’s nickname. Welcome to Outerspace indeed.
