Squeeze Brain Squeeze!

In another 14 days, my art work will be collected and hang up in one of the famous art gallery in Malaysia organized by several organizations.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should start thinking the range of possible prices which I want to put for my work. I wanna sell it and make money. Then I can buy a DSLR. Change my wardrobe. Eat buffet. Go travel. Muahahahaha…

But…….

Siiigghhh… How good if this happens. How marvelous if my day dreaming comes true. Well, there is nothing like famous ‘art gallery’ nor several organizations’. I am just pulling your leg in order to make myself happier.. buuuuuu….. :(

Anyway, my artwork will definitely be hung up in an art gallery and it is in University Malaya. I have enrolled myself in a fine art class this semester as a co-curriculum subject and all the student’s masterpiece MUST BE SHOWN in the hall. Those who fail will get a big fat ‘GAGAL’ or ‘FAILED’ in the coming examination result slip.

And I don’t know how far I can handle this because... I haven’t do anything for it. I just started my shopping attempt this afternoon, surveying, scanning and buying those art stuffs which I need. Luckily, my visit to a nearby Popular Bookstore helped me in solving this problem. Thanks God!

There are plenty of stuffs which I can get from the store and I have no problem in looking for the right materials and tools. It means that I can start drawing and painting my 10” X 14” canvas within these 2 weeks.

These are the real oil pastels which I should get for my ‘oil-paint-project’. Each costs RM11.90 – RM 15. Oh dear.. However, my lecturer encourages the newbie (like me) to use something easier. I don’t have any basic for oil painting seriously.

This is called, the Arcylic Colour which is easier to be used. The differences are, you can use water to wash out the colour on the paper or canvas but not oil colour. You have to use turpentine if you use oil colour. Next, acrylic colour is much cheaper if compare to oil colour. Phewww.. Luckily I can save up some $$$.

No matter how cheap it is, this box still cost me RM38. Sob… I am so broke… T.T

Somehow, I haven’t picture anything in my mind. I have no idea what I wanna paint in this square white canvas. This does make me worry that I might not be able to meet the deadline, unless my inspiration comes in time (like it always happens).

Well, all I can do now is to sit quietly in a corner, relax and focus on the message which I want to deliver to the public.

George Carlin Was Pure Genius

I was feeling in the the foulest of foul moods, so I decided to watch some comedy clips on everyone's favorite time-suck: YouTube.

I just recently watched Bill Maher's "Religulous" for the first time. I found the movie very entertaining and very informative.

But I also found it somewhat like watching the internet-sensation "Zeitgeist" more than anything else in terms of the research and review of all perspectives toward biblical history and human history.

But you really got to talk to, or read the books of, people who have studied this to death because (1) I'm not an expert and (2) I don't want to go there.

In the interest of full disclosure: I am one of those people who doesn't know when or how to shut up.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Time for a few fart jokes!"

My Uncle Reads My Blog

Not long ago, when my Uncle Khoo came back from United States after attending a flying course, he gave me several surprises. One of the surprises is this:

Luggage tag.

This tag is to be placed around your bag or luggage. So, when you’ve lost your bag or luggage (especially in the airport) those who are kind and honest will return your belonging to the service counter or contact you straight away. He did tell me that only pilot like him can order and customize this kind of tag from FlightSafety.

Oh dear.. what a privilege I have. Thanks uncle!

It is so sweet of him for remembering me and bought me something real special, for his children as well as me. He is just like my father and I am really glad he always shower me with his fatherly love ever since I was small.

However, there is one thing I can yet to believe is that….. "HE READ MY BLOG!" (Oopss.. controlling my excitement).

I mean, uncle you read my blog!??

I did ask him how did he find my blog and do you know what he answered? “I just type ‘curryegg’ on the yahoo search engine and your website appear”. Wooooww.. My uncle is a high tech savvy man. I didn’t know this until I receive this tags.

Don’t play play ar…

*Tunning into a calmer tone*

Thanks uncle for this lovely gift. By now onwards, I know you are my loyal reader and thanks for remembering my blog URL. It is so nice of you..

Triumph the Insult-Comic Dog

"Their heads filled with talking points. Their bellies filled with pure-grain alcohol."
"Can you finish me off now?"
"Your show sucks so hard the sides of my TV caved in."
"It's called 'doggie-style', okay grandma?"

Meet My Twins

I know. I know.
I know I haven't been updating my blog like ages. It has been almost.. a week?

Yeah. A week.
Well, I have a very good reason behind this disappearance. Believe it or not, it was the distraction from my long lost twin sister.

I HAVE FOUND MY TWIN SISTER!!!!!!!!!

Surprise!
Surprise!
Surprise!

You know what, mum and dad had never told me I have a twin sister till I discovered her myself. I was so mad at them. Real mad as they had been keeping this secret away from me for all this while. It was one fine afternoon, when Eric and I were wandering around the mall, looking for lunch.

I didn't know how and why my feet leaded us into this mini 1901 restaurant. The attraction was so strong and unconsciously we decided to have our lunch there.

Do you know what is the freakiest thing ever happen in my life? I met someone who look exactly like I am. Same hair, same smile, same entire, same bag and shoes!

Isn't it spooky?
I did ask her, "Are you.... my twins?"

She didn't reply but smiled.
And guess what. Eric met his twins too!

We dismissed after the short cam-whoring session since each of us were rushing to the movie. Anyway, I know I will met her again. Maybe when I am paying my another visit in the toilet.

Sister.. I miss you..

'Make-up' or 'Naked'?

My last Facebook status was one of my favorite collection so far. I received good amount of responses from my Facebook friends and mostly, guy replied in a very creative way. Don't believe me? Click on the picture below to enlarge it.

Status:
An aunt said, "Woman without make up is like not wearing clothes. Gosh! I just realized I am naked all the time.

P/s: What an unorganized size of pictures. Should really learn my edit photos properly.. sigh..

Now I am wondering, are they attracted with the word 'make-up' or 'naked'?

Dad. Uncle Google Knows Everything.

My dad is watching NBA final, live right now on ESPN channel. I thought of joining in to spend my quality time with him. At the same time, I wish to be a part of his world - the daddy world.

So I asked, "Dad. What are the teams competing now?"

He replied, "Please. Don't disturb me. You know nothing about NBA. So, no point telling you what LAKERS is".

Feeling challenged by his words, I typed the exact letters "L-A-K-E-R-S" and hit on the Google search button. It took 0.08 seconds and the whole list coming out.

"Now dad. What do you want to know about LAKERS?"

Be Creative With Your Sanitary Pad!

Girls...
What will you do with your own sanitary pad?

Will you wrap it with colourful papers?
Will you put in a nice, sweet bag?
Will you decorate it?
Or just do nothing with it?

These questions have never come across my mind. Never.

Seriously, I have never thought of being creative with my own sanitary pads. Not even the idea of decorating them until I saw one. I was in my friend's sister's room couple of days ago and my eyes immediately spotted this thin object, lying matter-of-factly on the floor. Like it should be there.

No one ever thought that it is a woman sanitary towel till you are close enough to examine it. Well, I was being fooled at first sight. I thought it was a notepad. Lol..

I believe my friend's sister is a creative person, don't you think so? Maybe she should start putting beads or coloring the pad in her next project. Lol.

"Expend your creativity
" and I guess this is what it means.

What A Strange Name For Restaurant

I had been to a restaurant, somewhere in Kuala Lumpur and my family and I had come across with this Unique Seafood Restaurant. I didn't realize any weird thing until Ary showed this to me:

If you know how to read Chinese, you will notice something weird here.

奇怪 - weird
海鲜 - seafood.

So when you combine the Chinese words, it will be 奇怪海鲜 - Weird Seafood.

I wonder did they purposely choose the names - both Chinese and English or is there an error? And you are asking about my experience while dinning in the restaurant?

Emmm... weird~~~

The MAP

How many countries are they in the world?
Anyone can answer me?

The number of countries is growing and anyone of you know the latest figure?
:D

For all this while, I don't know the exact number until I played this flags matching games with KW. It's fun and now, I can improve my Geography. Sigh.. It's hard to admit that.. I'm bad in cartography. This is the main subject which I'm always being teased by my dad. Eeeerrr!

Looking at the world map, the only continent which I know well is the Asia. Sigh.... Thank to Malaysia Education system in stressing on the Asia for the Geography subjects. Puff.... :(

At the only country I know very well, of course... Malaysia... followed by Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar and so on....

Sigh...
Sometimes, I feel like I'm stuck in a small box. The only thing I know is Malaysia, South East Asia and Asia. What else? I guess my dad is right. I shouldn't trap myself in this small box anymore. I should climb up and walk out of the box rather than stay still and wait for nothing.

Although this is just a 'children activity' (I mean the map), it inspires and motivates me to move further. I've set a higher dreams, higher goals which I am sure I can reach them someday, somewhere. I'm reaching the stars!

Examining the map, I wish I can travel like one of the Malaysian famous blogger, Nicolekiss who is the world travelers. She travels, blogs and searching the meaning of life which I'm pretty impressed and admired. I do hope I can travel like her, someday, when I've graduated and gain my counseling license.. Then, I wanna immigrate to Australia, United States, England or maybe... Africa??? Lolx.. Too much of day dreaming....
:)

Right now, I want to see thing out of the box. No more Malaysia, Sout East Asia nor Asian. Read my lips....

"No.. More.."

Now, who should I vote for?
:P

P/s: Dad, you must be proud of me, don't you?
*smile broadly*

:D
