The amount exceeds Activision’s previous five-day worldwide record of $550 million set by last year’s "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2", according to internal Activision estimates.

The first-person shooter video game was first released worldwide November 9, 2010, earning $360 million in its first 24 hours, with 5.6 million units sold. Developed by Treyarch, "Call of Duty: Black Ops" is playable for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Nintendo DS, immersing players in Cold War-era battles, including 1960's Cuba, Vietnam and the Soviet Union.
Voice cast includes Sam Worthington as 'Alex Mason', Ed Harris as 'CIA Agent Jason Hudson', Gary Oldman as 'Sergeant Reznov', Ice Cube as 'Corporal Bowman' and Topher Grace as 'Special Agent Harris'.
The game is rated 'M' (Mature) for Blood, Drug Reference, Intense Violence and Language.
