Capcom, the developer/publisher of video games has announced that "Resident Evil 5" has shipped to North American retailers for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system. "With record-breaking downloadable demo numbers on both Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network, 'Resident Evil 5' is poised for a very successful launch," said Mona Hamilton, vice president, marketing, Capcom Entertainment.
"The two-player co-op experience, variety of control options, new storyline and advanced inventory system have created a revolutionary new action-packed game that fans and newcomers to the series will love."
