Edmonton, Alberta-based video game developer BioWare, a division of Electronic Arts Inc. has revealed "Mass Effect 3", with the game's premiere trailer, titled "Earth", broadcast December 11 on the Spike Video Game Awards (VGAs).
"...Earth is burning. Striking from beyond known space, a race of terrifying machines have begun their destruction of the human race. As 'Commander Shepard', an 'Alliance Marine, your only hope for saving mankind is to rally the civilizations of the galaxy and launch one final mission to take back the Earth..."."Mass Effect 3" will launch globally, late 2011 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and PC, the first time the "Mass Effect" franchise will launch on all three major platforms simultaneously.
