Mass murderer Joseph Stalin, the ruthless Soviet leader who killed more of his Russian countrymen than the Germans, before, during and after World War II, stars in a new PC game from a group of Russian developers.
"Stalin Vs. Martians" opens in 1942, as a band of Martians land in Siberia and attack Russia. It's up to the player to command Soviet forces, and Stalin, who is depicted as hundreds of feet tall, heads up the country's defense effort.
"It is so insanely beautiful randomness, that we just couldn't waste the opportunity to actually make this kind of game," said lead designer/producer Alexander Shcherbakov.
"One contributing factor to our success could be the high level of historical accuracy, that is completely missing...", said the game's executive producer Tom Soderlund...
