Economics Made Easy
The problem wasn't the fertilizer, temperature nor insects.
The plant just needed to be watered.
I watered everyday. Some days even twice.
I poured and poured gallons of water on the plant until enough finally trickled down to the roots.
After a long period of time, the plant came back to life (thanks to my wise and thoughtful top to bottom watering technique).
I learned the trickle down technique from my wise and venerated Uncle Ronny (he always had the answer to any problem).
This method of top to bottom has always been proven to work (given a long enough period of time).
Now there is this uppity new guy who thinks that directly watering the roots of the plant will take less water and time.
He assumes that by addressing a problem directly (instead of letting the pretty flowers bathe in gallons of water), he can make my flowers even more robust.
What's his problem?
Doesn't he know that the old proven ways will always be the best?
(Psst..I think he's a socialist!)
Why Silence Is Golden?
I know. This is a very common idiom we always get to hear.
But how many of us really know the meaning of silence?
How about the word quiet?
There is time we need to speak and there is time we need to be quite. Sadly, not many understand this rule.
If you start to question the real meaning of silence, watch this video clip. It will tell you how important silence is. So, be quite and watch this! Make sure you laugh... :P

Don't Buy Slipper Made By China
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, this is about my email which I received yesterday. This time, it is a caring email from Asha, my lovely mama (she's so caring till I want to call her mama).. :P
Thank dear for the email and wish you don't mind if I post it here in my blog.
Frankly, I feel that these photos are even scarier than my ghost post. Look at the feet!
Eeeeeeeehhhhhwwwwwww....
Is that really the effect of wearing the slippers which are made from China? Is it so serious? I wonder is it because of the type of rubber they used in making the slippers? Emmm... question question question...
I still remember the news on how the producers in China use recycled condoms to make hair bands. Eikssssss! Isn't that disgusting? And it's so unethical and immoral business practices . I can't imagine the number of sperms tying on my hair. Or even stick on the hair. AIDS! HIV!
Eeehhhwwwwwwwwww!!!
We should really be careful in choosing China products these days. Still remember the Chinese milk scandal? Keep this in mind.

Why do McCain supporters fail to see the differences in the way each campaign has been waged?
I'm a skeptic. One party is as bad as the next,
But if one party plans to scare a country into a deeper morass with scurrilous accusations, while the other plans to inspire a country (and world) into action.
How is the Party of Hope at fault?
Our current economic situation (and it's subsidising of an economy predicated on interest and banking instruments - not goods or services ) was caused by policies similar to what McCain is proposing. The bail-out is stalled because the "trickle-down" Reaganomics only helps the rich.
Oh, I understand... If the rich get richer, they'll have bigger crumbs for us to fight over. Now it makes sense.
But doesn't it make more sense to provide people with a bridge out of poverty (to create their own crumbs to leave for others) instead of offering them those bigger crumbs?
So c'mon JohnnyMac - trying to scare the country with exaggerations is pointless. As a wise man once said; "It's the economy. stupid"
"The Beatles" Tune Into Harmonix...
The music of "The Beatles" is to be set in a new video game through an exclusive partnership between Apple Corps Ltd., Harmonix and MTV Games, a part of Viacom's MTV Networks.
This partnership marks the first time that Apple Corps, EMI Music, Harrisongs Ltd, and Sony/ATV Music Publishing, have agreed to present "The Beatles" music in an interactive video game format.
Published by MTV Games and developed by Harmonix, creators of "Rock Band", the game will be :
"...an unprecedented, experiential progression through and celebration of the music and artistry of The Beatles, creatively conceived with input from Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, along with Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison. In addition, Giles Martin, co-producer of The Beatles innovative LOVE project, will provide his expertise and serve as Music Producer for this groundbreaking Beatles project..."
"The project is a fun idea which broadens the appeal of The Beatles and their music. I like people having the opportunity to get to know the music from the inside out," Beatle Paul McCartney said.
"It gives me great pleasure to be part of The Beatles/Apple and Harmonix/Rock Band partnership," said Beatle Ringo Starr.
"The Beatles continue to evolve with the passing of time and how wonderful that The Beatles' legacy will find its natural progression into the 21st century through the computerized world we live in. Let the games commence."
"It's cool. I love it and hope it will keep inspiring and encouraging the young generation for many decades," said Yoko Ono Lennon.
"People are having so much fun playing Rock Band. Combined with The Beatles tracks, it is a great way to either listen or participate," said Olivia Harrison.
"If you like the music, it doesn't take much persuasion to get you to play."
"Introducing the genius of The Beatles to a whole new generation of music lovers through original and inspired ways is extremely exciting to us at Apple Corps," said Jeff Jones, CEO, Apple Corps.
"The impact of The Beatles is forever ingrained in the hearts, minds and souls of millions the world over," said Judy McGrath, Chairman and CEO of MTV Networks.
"The Beatles are the reason many of us are WHERE we are, and some of us are WHO we are..."
Starz Land "Dead Space: Downfall"...
Starz Entertainment will debut "Dead Space: Downfall" on Encore Action Sunday, Nov. 2at 10PM.
Developed by Film Roman (Starz Entertainment's sister company), the film is a feature-length animated movie based on the highly anticipated game "Dead Space" from Electronic Arts, released Oct. 14. The movie was released on DVD by Starz Media's Anchor Bay Entertainment Oct. 28.
"We are thrilled to have the world television premiere of 'Dead Space: Downfall' on Encore Action," said Nancy Silverstone, vice president program acquisitions, Starz Entertainment.
"The feature sets a new standard for animated horror that our audience will love. It provides the story thread from the comic books to the newly released game, using the background and sound design from the game and the same artistic spirit of the comic book series."
The story begins with the "Dead Space" comic books. The feature picks up the plot where the original comic book series, written by Antony Johnston and illustrated by Ben Templesmith, ends and leads up to the beginning of the "Dead Space" game.
"...The story focuses on the disturbing events aboard a futuristic mining spaceship, the USG Ishimura, after it pulls a mysterious artifact from a remote dig site on a planet in the far reaches of the galaxy. The artifact triggers the sudden invasion of a long-dormant alien presence, and the Ishimura crewmembers find themselves locked in a frantic struggle to survive..."
