Director Brett Ratner will direct a feature adaptation of the Sony Computer Entertainment video game "God of War" for Universal Pictures.Premise of the game, set in ancient Greece, follows the battles of the warrior 'Kratos', who tackles mythological beasts including 'Medusa', 'Cyclops' and the 'Hydra', with players guiding Kratos on his quest to find 'Pandora's Box' and destroy 'Ares', the god of war.
Created by David Jaffe and Shannon Studstill, the game was released for PlayStation 2 March 2005, with a sequel released March 2007 and a prequel released March 2008.A third title is currently in development for PlayStation 3...
